Cyclical Cycles of God’s Wonders

Yesterday, I told you that we can’t stop the sun or moon from shining, or seasons from happening. The same is that we cannot stop what God put in place or His word from coming to be. God created the world and everything in it and the universe around it, in six days. On the seventh day He rested. A day that we’ve came to call, Sabbath. God also put certain laws into place to make sure that rest and restoration is upheld. We see in my piece on Debt Repayment, that we have to forgive any debt of a person in the seventh year. Please see: https://lightbearersquest.com/2020/06/08/debt-repayment/?fbclid

But God also put other laws in place concerning the people. Those people who are in bondage, in other words slaves, should serve only for six years and on the seventh be given their freedom (without payment) – Exodus 21:2 (NIV).

Then there are the ‘Sabbath Laws,’ we find in Exodus 23:10-11 (NIV): “For six years you are to sow your fields and harvest the crops, but during the seventh year let the land lie unplowed and unused. Then the poor among your people may get food from it, and the wild animals may eat what is left. Do the same with your vineyard and your olive grove.” These, and other laws God has put in place for us, has been forgotten. We find that even in Jeremiah’s time, people have only followed the laws they decided was good, out of greed. Their hearts were far away from God and to their fellow man.

In Jeremiah 34 we read that Zedekiah, King of Judah, made a covenant with the people by promising liberty to all. Something we will hear every time there is an election year. But as soon as the election is over people are placed back into bondage. The phrases just change to encourage those who feel the yoke of bondage most. Phrases such as, ‘we can built our country together,’ or ‘together we can make a difference.’ The burden then often falls on those who is worked to the bone, to help built up the country again. While those in power reap the reward. You see, the slaves who was made free was back in servitude, and God was appalled by this. God said that He brought the Israelite’s out of bondage and reminded them of the laws He has set in place. “But Ye turned and polluted my name, and caused every man his servant, and every man his handmaid, whom ye had set at liberty at their pleasure, to return, and brought them into subjection, to be unto you for servants and handmaids. Therefore thus saith the Lord; Ye have not hearkened unto me, in proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother, and every man to his neighbour: behold, I proclaim a liberty for you, saith the Lord, to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine; and I will make you to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth” (Jeremiah 34:16-17,KJV).

There is only one freedom that I long for. In John 8:36 (KJV) it says that,”If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” This is part of our life cycle. At some stage everyone will hear the word of God and be given the choice. When you choose the way of the Lord, you will be set free of the bondage that the world has set upon you. It has been prophesied by Isaiah that “every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear” (Isaiah 45:23, KJV). This statement is repeated in Romans 14:11 and Philippians 2:10. We have entered into the season of harvest. Therefore, let us not grow weary in this season of harvest time, for “in due season we shall reap, if we faint not” (Galatians 6:9).

My prayer for you today is that you will have strength in this time of harvest, for He who created all have heard the cries of those in bondage, and “He reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest” (Jeremiah 5:24, KJV). #GodCanDoThis
